I am very excited to announce that this Saturday, July 26th will be the Grand Opening Celebration for Spikes! Our wonderful new snack and restroom facility, named Spikes, is nearly complete. A grand opening celebration will be held this Saturday, July 26th. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 9:00 AM, followed by complimentary rolls and drinks. Other specials will be running throughout the day out of Spikes.
This new building was made possible because of the generous contributions from many individuals, businesses and groups that donated money, time, talent, materials and equipment. Come help us celebrate this exciting new addition to the Lake Panorama National Resort this Saturday. And if you can’t visit Saturday, make it a point to stop into Spikes soon.

Along with Spikes being nearly complete, the new double row irrigation system is installed on all 18 Holes. The irrigation crew will be here for a few more weeks putting finishing touches on the system but the system is currently working and being used.
Business continues to be strong up at the Links and I encourage you to enjoy the great food and service after a round of golf or an evening out with friends and family. The golf course continues to be in superb shape and I hope to see you out enjoying the summer weather.
It is hard to believe that the two major projects this summer are wrapping up and I look forward to seeing everyone enjoying these great additions to Lake Panorama National Resort.

The Links Restaurant & Lounge continues to be a popular place to dine to enjoy great food, service, and friends. The patio furniture is out on the patio now and ready to be enjoyed during lunch or dinner when the weather is nice and warm.

The fitness & exercise room currently has ten machines that will help you improve your health and fitness level. You may pay a daily fee to use the fitness room or purchase a membership. Memberships are available for a year, six months, three months, or monthly. Membership categories include single, couple, and family.

37th Annual Club Championship:
Lake Panorama National will be hosting your 37th Club Championship on July26th and 27th. This weekends Club Championship will be even better then usually with the grand opening of Spikes on Saturday.
The deadline for entry is this Friday, July 25 at Noon. No entries will be taken after Noon.
As always, the goal is to have fun and crown our Club Champions in the following categories:

The next Friday Couples is August 1 and will be Twilight Putting. Twilight Putting will be held on the putting green and couples will compete as 2-person teams. The object is to have the lowest putts at the end of the round.

Afterwards, enjoy great food and drinks up at the Links and wait to see if you won gift certificates when the staff announces the winning couples.
Dan Lehman Memorial Golf Tournament:
Thank You to everyone that played in the Dan Lehman Memorial Golf Tournament this past Sunday. The weather and golf was great and so was the turnout. We had 132 players play in memory of Dan and help raise money towards the junior golf program at LPN.

2008 Junior Golf:
Once again, LPN and it’s golf professional staff are dedicated to providing junior golfers the opportunity to experience the wonderful game of golf.
10th Annual Junior Golf School:
The 10th Annual Junior Golf School at Lake Panorama National was once again a big hit for the junior golfers. This year, twenty-eight students got instruction from the PGA Professionals and their assistants in full swing, chipping, and putting. The last day, the students enjoyed the morning at the Par 3 West Golf Course playing golf followed by a pizza party and awards ceremony. Each student got a bag full of gifts including golf balls, towels, and golf passes to the Par 3 West Golf Course.
