GM Corner:
Believe it or not the golf course is drying out and we could use a little rain. Summer is in full swing and the golf course, restaurant, and conference center continues to attract people and we want to thank you for your continued support.
We are in the final phases of our bunker restoration program and to date we only have hole #14 to complete. The new bunkers have made for a nice face lift and I want give special thanks to Dan Wollner & Brandon Waddle and their staff for the work they do.
I would like to take a moment to extend a thank you to those individuals serving on the LPN golf advisory committee.
Susan Thompson, Mary Hills, Faye Petersen, Leroy Oxley, Mark Juhl, and Kent Stephenson.
These individuals meet with me every month and talk about the positives and negatives and work with me to continue to move this organization in a positive matter. I encourage any individual that may have questions, comments, or concerns to contact any of the above for information or input.
Some exciting projects are on the horizon. You will see starting next week that we will begin to remodel the front entrance and the fitness equipment is here and we are preparing the augusta sawgrass room for a grand opening next month.
It is hard to believe that we are in the middle of June and the 4th is just around the corner.

Each team will be given a certain length of string that can be used on the putting green to improve your score. Other then the string, it will be 4-person best shot. Junior Golf Camp:
Thank You to all the kids that joined us for the 1st Annual Junior Golf Camp. We had 7 kids that enjoyed golf instruction, cook-out, campfire, smores, movies, gifts, and much more. Gary Babcock and Michael Kleinwolterink had a great time spending the afternoon and morning with the kids.
A big Thank You goes to the Swinging for the Kids organization. They were gracious enough to donate money towards the Junior Golf Camp. The donation helped us to pay for the townhome, food and gifts. Thank You very much.
